Playing with colours

I have been working through a range of Christmas cards this week, while the sun beams were pouring through the windows of my studio.( It was very tricky to maintain my concentration of capturing the essence of Christmas, when glancing out of my window, I'm greeted with the faces from my sunflowers which reminded me that summer is not over)

Never the less I have persevered and have started researching vintage colours and how to recreate the feel of the nostalgic festive season once more.
